(We are primarily Carbondale landlords who rent property that we have built, as well as building homes for sale. We treasure our local reputation for excellence.) Our travels have taken us to some wonderful "non hotel" experiences in Great Britain and Ireland. (learned the wonderful term self-catering unit!). Much as we loved staying at Disney, we missed a lot of the comforts of home - me sleeping while Andy was watching television in another room - not hurrying my tub because he was waiting to take his shower - having a washer and dryer available for those days when someone dumped lunch into their lap - so we started to look for weekly rentals in the Orlando area. Most were what I call "Early Holiday Inn" décor. Nice, bland but just no adventure or playfulness to them. When we go on holiday, we want it to be an experience to remember and that includes the place we call home for a week or two. So, when we decided to try a short term rental house in the Orlando area, it had to meet our criteria of vacation necessities.
Special Features
- 3 Bedrooms, 2 have king beds and the other has 2 twin beds.
- 3 Bathrooms, both king bed rooms have the bath ensuite. One has a large garden tub, the other has a large walk in shower.
- A large screened patio, with in ground pool, chaise lounges, patio table and chairs, with access from both master suites and the living room (lounge).
- Soaring cathedral ceilings with decorative plant shelves create the airy spacious feel.
- A fully equipped kitchen - dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, pots, pans, small appliances, glassware, safari themed dishes, placemats, etc.
- 2 car garage
- Laundry area with full size washer and dryer. (the fewer changes of clothes in the suitcase - the more room for souvenirs!)
- A wall safe that only you have the key to for your valuables.
- Safari décor - animal prints and pictures, statues, and lots of greenery.
We have a wonderful property manager, who can arrange many other services if you wish them. (cleaning during your stay, babysitting, sources of discount tickets, airport pickup arrangements, car hire recommendations, as well as restaurant and shopping recommendations.)
